Lummus Consultants Recognized with 2024 IJGlobal Award
HOUSTON, Texas – March 18, 2025 – Lummus Consultants, a leading technical and environmental advisory and risk assessment business unit of Lummus Technology, is proud to announce it has received, in tandem with client, Coastal GasLink, the IJGlobal’s Bond of the Year award. IJGlobal is one of the world's largest infrastructure and project finance data sources.

The Coastal GasLink project is a natural gas pipeline in northern British Columbia that transports gas from the Montney Shale area near the Alberta border to the LNG Canada facility in Kitimat on the Pacific Ocean, providing direct access to global LNG markets. Lummus Consultants was the technical advisor for the refinancing of the existing construction credit facility through a Canadian private bond offering, which closed in June 2024 and had a transaction value of US$5.2 billion (CAD$7.15 billion), representing the largest corporate bond offering in Canadian history and the largest North America project finance bond in transaction value. Key partners on the project included TC Energy, Bank of America, Bank of Montreal, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Royal Bank of Canada.
In addition to their bond of the year award, Lummus Consultants was a finalist for the Technical Adviser of the Year award. The IJGlobal Awards for the Americas were created to recognize achievements in infrastructure finance activity.
